We are proud to present our 2011-2012 concert season, in which we'll continue to perform some of Bach's finest works on historical instrumentsand with single voices.

Our liturgical series "Voice of the Soul" will continue to take place at the Enav Center in Tel Aviv, in co-operation with the center for chamber music - Stricker. During the season our concerts will relocate to the ISraeli Conservatory's new building on Stricker street.

In the 2011-2012 we'll continue our focus on the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and will present his double motets, the musical offering, as well as a selection of early cantatas, which we'll perform on Bach's birthday in conclusion of the "Bach Days" music festival, a week of musical activities all in celebration of Bach.

The high point of the season - "German Requiem" by Johannes Brahms, a composer with a unique affinity for early music and Bach's music in particular. We will perform this favorite work in a unique arrangement for chamber ensemble comprising eight singers and twelve instruments.

In addition to the programs in the series we'll also hold a special concert dedicated to Israeli composer Yehezkel Braun, in celebration of his 90th birthday. Braun, one of the country's most highly regarded and prodigious composers, has a special connection to our ensemble, for which he wrote in 2010 his beautiful and touching work "David's Lament".

The 2011-2012 season promises to be brimming with some of the most beautiful works of the baroque, a season of exciting musical discoveries which we'll present in our innovative and unique approach. Join us and discover the magic of Bach!
